In the annals of sneaker history, the Nike Dunk Low SP ‘Plum’ holds a special place, originating as an exclusive release for the Japanese market in 2001. A part of the renowned ‘Ugly Duckling’ collection, this unique colorway went on to play a significant role when the design was resurrected in 2020. Now, as we approach spring 2024, we’re thrilled to announce Nike’s plans to re-launch the famed Dunk Low ‘Plum’.

From what we know, the upcoming iteration will keep the same style code as its 2020 sibling, giving sneaker enthusiasts a pretty clear idea about the design construct and color scheme to expect.

The anticipated model features a lush, deep-purple suede covering the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. A softer purple tone graces the suede toebox and side panel, which perfectly balances the richer shade. Pops of red offer eye-catching contrasts on the laces, tongue tag, Swoosh, and heel tab. A soothing lavender tone cloaks the mesh tongue and collar, blending effortlessly with the overall design. The final touch is a crisp white midsole, contrasted with a vibrant red outsole, rounding off this exciting palette.

Get ready for a spring refresh in 2024, because the Nike Dunk Low SP ‘Plum’ will make its much-anticipated return through Nike and select retailers.
